Our flight to Sydney was in the late afternoon, so to fill
the day we had a late start and then went to a unique place. There is a casino in Cairns, and on the top

came to be, but one can imagine the casino developers needing to please a
segment of the Planning Board or the Town Council or whoever had to give
permission to site the casino right in the middle of downtown Cairns.
Here’s a bird called a Papuan Frogmouth which, we were told,

it’s fun to share. Thanks to those who
commented or sent notes—it’s appreciated!
